Bestial…
Mike Lawrence Illustration

It’s been a while since I posted about some sick as fuck, dark and evil, metal-tinged illustration, so today I have some for you via Mike Lawrence Illustration. His work has everything in it that I want emblazoned on my chest and my walls – skulls and incantations, impeccable details and bold lines and dot work. He creates a texture that is precise but not calculated; rather, it imparts the heat of hellfire and the cold of a darkened, lifeless heart. I especially enjoy his more cosmic creations, with a heady symbolism and screaming bones floating in a celestial ether. A lot of the images I pulled for this post are from his webstore, where he sells hand-pulled screenprints of his work. He also has some pretty fucking \m/ demon coasters so that my longhaired friends’ cheap icy beers don’t leave more rings on my coffee table. Ingenious, because I can’t seem to get them to use my floral ones. Check out Mike Lawrence’s work below…
