Growing up in Southern California, at an early age you learn that the Police are not your friends. Their motto is “Protect & Serve,” which is bullshit because the LAPD only protects the rich. In the 8o’s, I saw many of my punk homies smashed in the head by the pigs just for being different, myself included! I have no love for the swine in blue, this is why I dig the new season by Wartime Collective so much. This time around, the brand flips hip-hop iconography with their hatred for police to come with some banging tees & hoods. Check out the new Wartime Collective here, and say it loud: FUCK THE POLICE!
Ireland, as a country, has always been one of our biggest supporters here at CVLT Nation. Not only do they produce amazing artists and bands, this land of mystery and magick also has some dope stores and clothing brands popping off. One of which is Kilkenny’s NINE LIVES, who carry some of our favorite brands and also produce their own line of sick tees etc., the latest collection being a collaboration with the great Sin-Eater. The results are some seriously fucking rad and evil tees! Nine Lives has also worked with Paul Jackson on a sick reinterpretation of the Joy Division drummer boy, which we absolutely love, plus a patch collabo with Daggers for Teeth. Check out these pieces and some other excellent Nine Lives merch below, which you can get online or in their Kilkenny shop…
RAWTEE has come out with another rad collabo, this time with Madrid-based illustrator Alex CL. The tee features a sick print hand screened on an organic cotton jersey grey tee. You can pick it up in the Rawtee Store – plus you can get their rad Killuminati tee on sale! Rawtee makes sure each hand-printed tee is packaged beautifully in black tissue paper and with a hand-printed tag, so if you are into supporting small, artisanal brands that bring you some fucking rad product, check him out!

Montreal’s OVATE goes live with her Autumn/Winter 2013 collection today – actually right now! RESURGAM expands on her always gorgeous silhouettes for both men and women, featuring coats and cloaks that would suit any snowy forest walker. Her materials are always top notch, and this season she has introduced more leather and some awesome looking faux fur to her pieces. I am waiting on baited breath for this collection, because as I write this all I’ve been able to see are her lookbook shots that you can check out below…for sure I’ll be hitting up the OVATE store at midnight to see what amazing handmade pieces she has to offer!
CVLT Nation is proud to present our Fall/Winter 2013 season, CVLT Nation SIX. SIX is a celebration of all things dark, delving into the underworld to resurrect creatures of disturbing beauty. This season we balance elegance and evil, blend geometry and chaos in a collection of illustrated graphics that show the true nature of CVLT Nation. SIX features one of a kind artwork from talented and well-known artists from the metal community. We worked with Alexander Brown, Viral Graphics, Andrew Sloan, Jacob Parmentier and Maxime Taccardi to create hand-drawn graphics for clothing that is as much a piece of art as it is a garment. We printed on t-shirts, unisex oversized tees, crews, hoodies and leggings, plus we have four new snap back and beanie styles to offer. CVLT Nation SIX just launched in our CVLT Store and will be in our stockists worldwide in the next couple of weeks! Check out some images below of our best season yet!
WARTIME COLLECTIVE is one brand that has gotten stronger with each season! Their new collection is full of fucking bangers that speak to the hate that many of us have for the police. Being from Los Angeles, where I have experienced police brutality first hand, I totally get where WARTIME COLLECTIVE is coming from. I respect the way that they are able to flip hardcore iconography and merge with a socio political message. On a personal tip, I need their Fuck The Police hat in my cap collection ASAP! Check out the new WARTIME COLLECTIVE gear right here and make sure to peep their webstore!
From now until 11:59 pm Wednesday, June 26th, get 40% off all the clothing in the CVLT Nation Web Store! All our current and past seasons are on sale, including all the sale items. I have been searching for years for good vintage leather pieces, and top of my list has been a really rad moto jacket. I have finally found it from a company I have a huge amount of respect for – Deadwood Leather out of Stockholm, Sweden. After starting a vintage retail shop on Södermalm, Carl and Felix decided to focus on creating a company based on sustainability in fashion, recycling leather and denim goods and turning them into masterpieces of radness! Many of you can surely sympathise with me about the difficulty of finding the perfect vintage leather jacket, one that fits beautifully and tight and makes you look fucking rock n roll. These guys know what we are looking for, and their jackets are lovingly crafted into the perfect fit out of soft, broken-in vintage leather. Deadwood Leather takes inspiration from 70s and 80s punk rock, and they hit the nail on the head. They keep it simple – their bread and butter are the moto jackets and vests in black or brown leather for men and women, and they also do a unisex denim jacket with leather sleeves which was what first attracted me to their company. It’s a perfectly soft denim vest with black leather sleeves, and I feel like a winner when I wear it! Plus, because I am not a fan of buying new leather for various reasons, I really appreciate the sustainable aspect to their company and that recycling is at the root of their business. They also do a rad leather 6-panel and some other styles like a leather bomber and leather apron. Their quality is outstanding and their styling is perfect. Check out what they have to offer below…you can pick Deadwood Leather jackets up in boutiques around the world and in their online shop!
For a while now, I have been a fan of DEATH/TRAITORS from afar, so today I want to share my love for this brand with the world! This gear is printed and designed by one man in NYC – Alex Heir in Brooklyn. If you are looking for clothes created by a punk for punks, then DEATH/TRAITORS is for you. What I really dig about this brand is the way Alex is able to convey strong messages with symbols and text, which is not an easy task. DEATH/TRAITORS tees have an anarcho vibe about them but never come off as preachy. When you buy clothes from this brand, you are supporting someone who supports punks worldwide to the fullest. Alex has a style of drawing that is all his own, so you won’t see a bunch of heads wearing the same shit! Check out the just released DEATH/TRAITORS Summer 2013 line below…Alex also plays in a rad dark punk band called SURVIVAL…more about them later – stay tuned!
