This is probably my favorite song on the record, both lyrically and musically. The story told in the song is about the hunt for someone/thing who is attempting to escape their fate and their past, and hopes in so doing the beast that pursues them loses interest or fails. Except, the beast lives on and feeds upon that fear and continues the hunt, never allowing the escape that they so desperately seek. The song begins and ends with the lines “You can’t hide – I will always find you,” and running with the theme of the record, it’s the boldest line about following your will, seeking out fear and destroying it. – Jean Saiz (guitar/vocals)
