Do you even DOPETHRONE?? This Montreal band is so fucking sick, one of my favorites, a band whose music brings out the dirtiest, deadliest, most debauched version of myself. For years I have watched them tour Europe and the East Coast from afar, and finally this weekend I’m getting the chance to see them live in Vancouver for the first time. So I’m very stoked about that, and I’m very stoked about their new album Transcanadian Anger coming out on May 25th via the always stellar Totem Cat. I mean, with song titles like “Scuzzgasm,” how the fuck are you supposed to listen to this band without crushing shotgunned beer cans on your skull? To celebrate the release, Dopethrone is hitting the road on a European tour in mid-June and July, and a US tour that starts at Psycho Las Vegas in August, dates below. Right now, we’re very happy to be premiering their video for the track “Snort Dagger” off their upcoming album.
