If you have not heard BOG OAK yet they are about to become your new favorite band! I feel so fucking lucky that a band like this is on the planet. Every second of their two new songs leaves me in awe and yearning for more. BOG OAK creates soulful blackened doom that is as catchy as the nile virus, but never sounds forced or contrived. Julie Seymour’s vocals are a magic carpet ride into a dark universe where THC is the sunlight. Then there is the sonic tidal wave of sound created by Phillip and Matthew that is both heavy and captivating at the same time. All I can say is that when you do download “Behold The Valley Of Slaughter” and “Experiments In Extinction”, your finger will be on the repeat button and BOG OAK will become your brand new high. Anyone with a label that hears this band and does not sign them needs a new pair of eardrums!!!
