Next Monday, April 2nd, I will be basking in the golden riffs and melancholy tones of RUSSIAN CIRCLES and KING WOMAN at The Biltmore in Vancouver, BC, and I couldn’t be more excited. Both of these bands are fucking amazing, and have graced these pages more times than I can count – without me ever having a chance to witness them live. So yeah, I can’t wait. This is their first date in Canada for this tour, and lucky for us Canucks they are willing to take the long, bleak trek across the country (bleak after you pass the BC/AB border anyway) to hit us with dates in almost every major Canadian city. Tickets to the Vancouver show are almost gone, but we’ve got our hands on a pair that we’re offering to one of our lucky local readers.
