Black Metal is an art form that can take many sonic shapes and cause the listener to reflect on many different emotions! Today I want to shed light on two stellar USBM bands called Lunar Temple & Barghest.
Lunar Temple’s Renunciation (demo) 2018 is un fucking real! At times it sounds like a rabid pack of dogs are going for my flesh as they fly towards the moon!The vocals you will experience on Renunciation are feral as fuck! Over the course of 20 minutes Lunar Temple never let’s up and take you on beautiful chaotic ride that you won’t want to end! Not only do I hear the dark magic that this band is into but I can feel it in my bones! This is elite Black Metal dipped in never ending passion that is enchanting! I look forward to hearing so much more from this band because they created one of the best demos//records of 2018. Barghest’s The Pious/The Poisoned spits in the face of everything that is sacred to the believers of false gods! I have been a fan of this band for years and with every release they go from strength to strength. On this 3 song EP they prove that their thick harrowing demonic riffs can not be fucked with! Barghest does not try to bring anything nice into their mix but MEAN AGGRO sounds that stoke your violent thoughts! I know for a fact that the band are working on more new material and for that I can not wait! Also they kick off the Nomadic Plague Summer 2019 tour on May 30th and you can find the dates below! The Pious/The Poisoned is a record that should be played at loud volumes…Be warned these tunes might incite violence against corrupt heads of state!
